Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM) identifies three new drill targets at its Cinto Project in Peru following IP and geophysical surveys, with drilling set to begin in Q4 2025.

Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM) has identified three high-priority drill targets at its 100%-owned Cinto Project in southern Peru, following the integration of historical geochemical and magnetometry data with a recently completed induced polarisation (IP) survey.

The IP program was conducted across eight lines covering a total of 16.2km, with 100m dipole spacing and 200m between lines, designed to assess the potential for copper sulphide mineralisation at depth.

The results have highlighted a significant area of high sulphide content in the northwest portion of the project. Chargeability anomalies in this zone reach up to four times the background level and are associated with the Incapuquio fault zone — a major structural feature trending northwest to southeast. These anomalies also correlate with resistivity contrasts, enhancing the potential for targeted exploration.

Notably, the survey revealed two key zones of elevated chargeability measuring 0.68km² and 0.22km², respectively. In addition, known copper oxide mineralised breccia outcrops returned a strong resistivity response across a 0.75km² area, suggesting the presence of phyllic alteration — a typical indicator of porphyry-style mineralisation.

Solis plans to test these new targets, which combine chargeability highs, phyllic alteration zones, and low magnetic responses, as part of a drill program scheduled for Q4 2025.

CEO Mitch Thomas says the results have reinforced confidence in the Cinto Project.

“The combination of induced polarisation chargeability and resistivity anomalies, combined with our previous magnetic surveys, mapping, and rock geochemistry, provide a strong basis for a drilling programme planned for Q4 2025,” Thomas commented.

“Exploration at Cinto complements copper-gold drilling underway at Chancho al Palo and a programme that will start shortly at Ilo Este.”

Permitting is already underway through the Ficha Técnica Ambiental (FTA) process, which allows for the rapid approval of up to 20 drill pads. With this groundwork in motion, Solis is well-positioned to advance its exploration portfolio across multiple targets in Peru.
