The company released new high-grade silver assay results together with a consolidated update of drilling results at Pampa Medina, reinforcing the project’s potential as a copper system with valuable by-products.

Marimaca Copper has reported additional high-grade silver assay results from its Pampa Medina project in Chile’s Antofagasta Region, along with a consolidated update of drilling results obtained to date at the deposit. The latest announcement further supports the project’s potential not only for copper mineralization, but also for silver as a potentially valuable by-product.

According to the company, Pampa Medina is located about 28 kilometres from the Marimaca Oxide Deposit (MOD), one of its flagship assets, and continues to demonstrate geological characteristics consistent with a manto-style copper system with meaningful silver content. The correlation between copper and silver identified across several zones of the deposit adds a new dimension to the project’s potential economic value.

The update comes as the company continues to expand its exploration efforts in the area. Marimaca said five drill rigs are currently operating on site, with plans to increase that number during April and May as part of its 2026 campaign. The goal is to further define mineral continuity and improve geological understanding of the deposit.

Pampa Medina has been gaining importance within Marimaca Copper’s project pipeline. Previous exploration updates had already highlighted high-grade copper and silver intersections, as well as significant lateral extensions to the west and north, helping expand the target area and reinforce the scale of the mineralized system.

The company has also noted that the presence of precious metals as by-products could become increasingly important in large primary copper deposits, both from a valuation standpoint and in terms of future development options. That is especially relevant as Pampa Medina continues to show a combination of scale, continuity and attractive grades across several mineralized zones.

In addition, the project benefits from regional synergies due to its proximity to other Marimaca assets and infrastructure. The company has previously emphasized that Pampa Medina combines shallow oxide potential with deeper high-grade sulphide zones, a feature that has drawn attention for its growth potential within the district.

With this latest update, Marimaca Copper continues to strengthen the geological case for Pampa Medina as a potentially significant growth asset within Chile’s copper sector. The addition of further silver results not only enhances the project’s appeal, but also provides new support for its long-term development potential in a market where by-product value is becoming increasingly relevant.
