Serabi Gold said mining and milling were not interrupted after a fatal accident at its Coringa underground operation in Pará, Brazil, on Jan. 25, 2026. The company is conducting an internal safety review.

Serabi Gold (AIM: SRB) said mining and milling operations were “at no point interrupted” and continue to progress following a fatal incident at its Coringa underground operation in Brazil.

What happened

Serabi reported that an accident occurred on January 25, 2026 at a production face during mining activities, resulting in the death of a mine worker. The company said no other personnel were injured.

Coringa is located in the State of Pará, around 200 km south of Palito and 70 km southeast of Novo Progresso, according to the company’s regulatory filing.

Compliance and internal review

Serabi said it has followed the required protocols with relevant agencies and authorities and is well advanced with an internal review of procedures as it reiterates its commitment to employee health and safety.
